All About Mary

My name is Mary Marshall, I have had a deep passion for flowers since I was a little girl. My grandmother was the biggest influence of my life, she started me in flowers, and I have been in love with them ever since. As a child, we would plant the most prestigious flower garden. Every year, we would pick out unique plants, and grown them in our garden. It wouldn’t always work and the plants would die early on. You must remember that we did not have the “flower resources” that are available to us today. So alot of our “research” was done by trial and error.

Every year, we would sit down and plan our new flower garden. I would spend the entire summer living with her at her home in Lévis along the St. Laurence overlooking Quebec City. Our garden was by far the most admired and revered garden in all of Lévis. We turned the dining room into a greenhouse where we would begin to grown our garden plants from seeds, so that they would be big enough to plant in the garden when the Spring came. Growing up over the years, I have continued the enthusiasm of flowers. I have traveled all over the world, admiring the exceptional flowers of various countries, such as the fields and fields of tulips in Holland. There was nothing more beautiful than miles of exceptional tulips, surrounding old windmills.
